High Performance, Simplified
A well-designed Air/Air intercooler system represents the most cost efficient and reliable method of reducing intake charge temperatures in turbocharger and supercharger applications. With no moving parts the Air/Air system provides essentially maintenance free reliability, just this side of bulletproof. Couple this with Bell Intercoolers engineering and design expertise and you have a proven method of harnessing the potential of your turbocharged or supercharged engine.

Extreme Performance Solutions
Whether you are faced with the challenges of space limitations, a lack of access to cooling air flow or you are looking for extreme intercooler efficiencies, the Liquid/Air intercooler system can offer an attractive alternative to Air/Air intercooler systems. The Liquid/Air system works by transferring the charge air heat (from turbocharger or supercharger) to a liquid coolant, this coolant is then pumped to a remotely located heat exchanger where ambient cooling air removes the heat. The obvious advantage with this system is that you can optimally position your heat exchanger in the cooling air stream, regardless of the location of the engine or associated space limitations.

To view our full selection of Air/Air and Liquid/Air intercooler cores and some of the more common Air/Air and Liquid/Air intercooler assembly options available to you just click on the buttons below. If you have any questions you can also click on the Help button at the bottom of this page or feel free to call or email us at your convenience. We look forward to helping you design your next intercooler project.

Bell Intercoolers offers a large selection of high quality, pressure tested Liquid to Air (Liquid/Air) intercooler assemblies in sizes and styles (bar & plate or extruded) to meet all of your performance requirements. And with over 3000 cores in stock, we probably have it on hand and ready to go. Do we have what you're looking for? Just take a look.

Selecting Your Intercooler Assembly
When ordering an intercooler assembly you will need to A) select your intercooler core and B) select the tank designs. Use our online core inventory system (below) to compare dimensions and air flow requirements to find the correct core for your application. Click the Tank Selection tab (above) to identify the correct tank configurations for your intercooler assembly. Additional information on using our online system is available at the bottom of this page.

Core Selection
Use our online inventory system to compare air flow requirements and find the core that best meets the needs of your application. Cores are separated into six categories based upon available core thickness (Dimension A in the diagram on the right). In each of the six thicknesses you will find a variety of core dimensions, with listings for air flow of each core, shown in cubic feet per minute (CFM, based on 1 psig pressure loss across the intercooler core and a charge-air pressure of 10 psig) and core weight.

Please note Air to Air and Liquid to Air intercooler cores may not be the same type of construction, bar and plate or extruded, and there may be dimensions that not available in both types. Also, if you should require a core size that is not listed please contact us for possible special order options.

Items listed in black are in stock and ready to ship. Items listed in red are currently out of stock and will take more than one day to ship. If it is out of stock, please give us a call and we will let you know when it will be available.

Tank Selection
In the Tank Selection section you find numerous examples of possible tank configurations (Click Tank Selection tab above). These represent possible placements for inlet and outlet tubes on the assembly end tanks. Please note, these examples only represent the most popular inlet/outlet placement options and do not cover all possible configurations. Bell Intercoolers can design and produce an assembly utilizing whatever inlet/outlet and tank design you may require for your application. If you have any questions about the best design for your assembly please contact Technical Support and we will be glad to help you design the best intercooler system possible for your specific requirements.
